Blender Conference: Need Donations!

September 29, 2010 at 6:09 pm 34 comments

I’ve decided to go to BlenConf this year, so I’m starting a donation drive to help pay for it.  At BlenConf, I’ll have access to key developers to finalize trunk integration plans, and a great many artists for testing.  I should be able to resolve a great many issues, and work with other developers to best plan out trunk integration.

Any donations are much appreciated!  As an incentive, whoever donates first (at least $35) gets a free BMesh t-shirt!

I don’t like it either and I wonder why it DOESN’T show off bmesh’s advantages. Instead it’s just 2 old school cubes. 😦

Hey, that’s right! From where the meter gets updated? And the list of sponsors – are those just the names of recurring payment sponsors or anyone who contributed? I donated some time ago rather higher amount (on my rates) and not there. Did the aid even arrived to the right hands?

Just a note for you, if you’re interested, of course..
This is a thread blender users started over BA.org to report bugs in Bmesh branch.

Maybe you could have a look at it and write down some suggestions/considerations of your own:

    Best wishes for all!

Vraagje:Is bmesh al geïmplementeerd in de nieuwste beta?

  • 18. moth3r  |  October 20, 2010 at 5:31 pm

I would guess not. I am really surprised that this has not been implemented yet because that is not a feature but a core part of the 3d package. I am surprised Blender foundation is not taking bigger steps in the development or at least talking a bit more about the efforts they are taking in that direction.

Rough speeches there indeed. Can understand people wish for bmesh to be completed but no need to be that impatient and frustrated.

Oh well, we are only humans… or so they say.

    Hi All,

To me this could all be resolved using good old
    communication. Always problems arise things
do not go how they may have been planned….
As the French say c’est la vie.

But if you ring/email your bank manager/tutor/client
Blender Community and let them know what is
going on normally things work out.
(Farsarhy for example knows how to communicate)
I think the frustration here comes from not knowing?

I am obviously an angel 😉

    Just my two pence worth.

    Kindest Regards,

    P.
